France's annual inflation at record-tying 6.2% in Nov.
Consumer prices in France will have seen an annual increase of 6.2% in November, tying the 37-year-old record achieved in October, the country's statistical office INSEE revealed in its preliminary report released on Wednesday. On a monthly level, the figure went up by 0.4%.
The report projected the prices of energy will observe a year-on-year rise of 18.5% and those of food by 12.2%. Manufactured goods are projected to go up by 4.4% and services by 3.0%.
The Harmonized Consumer Price Index (HCPI) is expected to grow by 7.1% on an annual basis, just like in October, and 0.5% on a monthly one.
