French PM calls for dialogue after Yellow Vests protests

French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe called for "dialogue" after most recent Yellow Vests protests in France on Saturday, AFP reported. On the fourth weekend of protests in Paris against raising fuel prices, nearly 1000 people were detained and over 135 people, including police officers, were injured, according to most recent official figures.

More than 31,000 people protested across France, according to Secretary of State to the Interior Minister Laurent Nunez. It ws reported earlier that Paris riot police used tear gas bombs at the beginning of the panned protests.

Earlier today, United States President Donald Trump said the Paris Agreement "isn’t working out so well for Paris," adding that people do not want to pay "large amounts of money" to "maybe protect the environment."
