The aim of the sub-fund ("Fund") is to achieve long-term capital growth. For this purpose, the Fund invests in Chinese companies. The Fund invests at least two thirds of its assets in the equities of companies which have their head office or the predominant part of their business operations in China. Equities are selected using the top-down approach based on an assessment of the respective sectors, as well as using the "bottom-up" approach based on the analysis of stock and company fundamentals. Through the link between the Shanghai and Hong Kong stock exchanges (Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect), the Fund can invest directly in Chinese A shares. In addition, investments in Chinese B and H shares can be built up.
