Gas stations see first sign of stabilization - UK's Shapps

United Kingdom Transport Secretary Grant Shapps stated on Tuesday that gas stations in the country are starting to see the first signs of stabilization, with fewer problems occurring with the storage of gas.

However, Shapps noted that this positive development won't be reflected in the queues immediately, but he is confident about the amount of gas at the gas stations. Additionally, he said that the army is preparing to help out with the delivery of fuel stock.

Shapps admitted that Brexit had been a factor that contributed to the lack of qualified truck drivers, but asserted that it had also enabled the UK government to change the rules quicker and prepare a faster response to the crisis.
