German industrial output up 0.2% in November
Industrial production in Germany rose by 0.2% in November 2022 month on month, the country's Federal Statistical Office Destatis revealed in its provisional report released on Monday. The figure fell 0.4% in the reported month when compared to the same timeframe in 2021.
Excluding energy and construction, production increased 0.5% in November 2022, compared to October 2022. While intermediate goods and capital goods gained 1.1% and 0.7%, respectively, consumer goods declined 1.5%.
Energy production jumped 3% in November 2022. Meanwhile, construction output decreased 2.2% on a monthly basis.
