GE's revenue at $26.2B in Q4

General Electric Company (GE) announced on Wednesday that its net revenue in the fourth quarter stood at $26.2 billion, marking a 1% decline year on year, but topping market estimates.

The company's net earnings per share were 14% lower in the fourth trimester on an annual basis at $0.06, continuing EPS rose 17% to $0.07 and adjusted EPS landed at $0.21, while cash from operating activities amounted to $4.5 billion, less than in last year's fourth quarter when it was $5.2 billion.

"The fourth quarter marked a strong close to the year for GE. We met or exceeded our full-year financial targets and are on a positive trajectory for 2020. We're proud of our progress in 2019, including decisive actions to reduce our leverage and strengthen our businesses. Our work continues, but GE's committed team, exceptional technology, and global network make me more confident than ever that we can deliver," chairman and CEO H. Lawrence Culp, Jr. stated in the press release.
