Gov.: Kiev strikes village in Russia with cluster bombs
Alexander Bogomaz, the governor of Bryansk in Russia, said on Tuesday that a village in the region was hit by cluster munitions fired by the Ukrainian military.
Bogomaz specified that a preliminary investigation found no casualties, but noted that several residential buildings were damaged.
The United States supplied Ukraine with cluster munitions, largely ignoring concerns about the danger to civilians such bombs pose, especially the unexploded ones that detonate long after a conflict has ended.
