I'm not keeping Putin talks 'under wraps' - Trump

United States President Donald Trump said he is "not keeping anything under wraps" regarding his conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Trump was commenting on a previous report by the Washington Post that he concealed details of his talks with Putin in 2017 from administration officials. He told Fox News he "would release" the conversations, but did not provide any details.

The president went on to say that the New York Times article claiming the FBI started probing his ties with Russia after Trump fired FBI Director James Comey is "the most insulting article" written about him. However, he claimed the report revealed "absolutely nothing" about him and repeated that the Russia investigation is a "hoax" and a "witch hunt." Finally, Trump hinted at releasing evidence that the FISA warrant used to wiretap his 2016 campaign was obtained illegally "at the right time, if necessary" again without providing any specifics.
