Iranian embassy in Paris stoned

The Iranian embassy in Paris was stoned and painted with graffiti on Saturday, Tasnim reported, citing IRIB. The attack was allegedly an act of 15 members of the Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan.

The building, located in Avenue d'Iena in the 16th arrondissement of the French capital, was minimally damaged, with a few broken windows and minor damages to the facade. Objects that were thrown at the embassy could be seen in front of the gate.

Iranian media pointed out that French authorities knew about the attack, but allegedly did nothing to stop it.

Komala is a communist party of Iranian Kurds that operates from Iraq after being kicked out of Iran after the 1979 revolution.
