Italy approves additional €32B stimulus package

Both houses of the Italian parliament almost unanimously voted to approve a €32 billion stimulus package to add to Italy's deficit spending.

Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has proposed the bill and was backed by his parliament shortly after winning a vote of confidence in his government.

The money necessary to revive Italy's economy, struggling under COVID-19 restrains, will be issued to national health services and businesses either closed due to lockdowns or burdened by tax deadlines.
