Japan, S.Korea start high-level trade talks

Japan and South Korea started high-level trade talks on Monday, Yonhap reported.

The two countries plan on taking about a number of topics, including senstive technologies regulation.

The talks come after months of a trade dispute that started after South Korea's Supreme Court ruled Japan should compensate South Koreans that worked in Japanese labor camps in the first half of the 20th century. The move led to Japan restricting exports in the chip and displays industry.
