Japan's Amari sets 3rd budget for mid-December

Head of a tax panel led by Japan's ruling party, Akira Amari, announced on Thursday the country's economy could be backed with additional stimulus in order to deal with the impact of the coronavirus crisis.

Amari revealed that the third extra budget would be provided around mid-December, in the case that the ¥10 trillion (~$95 billion) budget reserves turn out to be insufficient.

Next to the immediate fiscal support, the Japanese government is putting maximum efforts into organizing The Tokyo Olympic Games, which have been rescheduled for the next year due to the pandemic.
