John Hickenlooper drops out of 2020 race

Former Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper dropped out of the race for the White House on Thursday. Hickenlooper, who served as Colorado governor from 2011 to January 2019, failed to stand out in the already-crowded pool of Democratic candidates and has consistently polled at around 1%.

"This morning, I’m announcing that I’m no longer running for President. While this campaign didn’t have the outcome we were hoping for, every moment has been worthwhile & I’m thankful to everyone who supported this campaign and our entire team," he wrote on Twitter.

However, the politician might enter the Senate race instead as he has reportedly been discussing efforts to unseat incumbent Cory Gardner.
