Johnson didn't sign Brexit delay request - reports

A Downing Street source said on Saturday that Prime Minister Boris Johnson hasn't signed the letter asking for a Brexit delay, which European Council President Donald Tusk confirmed he received, British media reported.

Johnson reportedly told the EU that the letter sent to Brussels is not his, but Parliament's. The letter was written by MPs, and the prime minister reportedly ordered Brussels envoy Tim Barrow to send a photocopy of the request, which he didn't sign. In an accompanying letter, he also reportedly referred to the delay as "deeply corrosive" and called on the EU to invite MPs to reconsider their position.
