Johnson sees 2nd virus wave threat in Europe

United Kingdom's Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Tuesday that he sees "the signs of a second wave" of the COVID-19 pandemic in other European countries.

"Swift and decisive action" needs to be taken to prevent travellers returning from countries where the second wave of infections emerges from "seeding the disease here in the UK," he noted while expressing support of the government's decision to quarantine holidaymakers returning from Spain for 14 days.

"We are always looking at ways in which we can mitigate the impact of the quarantine, try to help people, try to make sure that the science is working to help travellers and holidaymakers," Johnson added, according to a Sky News reporter.
