Judge says Trump admin officials must testify in election probe

A Washington judge ruled that officials from the Trump administration will have to testify before the grand jury in an investigation regarding former United States President Donald Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election, according to US media. A number of officials, including Trump's Chief of Staff Mark Meadows (pictured), Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, and advisors Robert O'Brien and Stephen Miller, previously invoked executive privilege.

Judge Beryl Howell rejected their claims in a closed-door session and ordered them to testify in the investigation. Sources told ABC News that Trump will probably appeal the ruling.
