Kia Corp. will suspend production at its Sohari plant in South Korea after dozens of workers at the site were diagnosed with COVID-19, according to a company spokesman.

The automaker noted the factory will not work on Monday and the suspension could be extended depending on the results of employees' coronavirus tests.

Sohari produces 320,000 vehicles per year that accounts for 10% of Kia's global production.
