Kiev reports progress near Bakhmut, 10 positions captured
Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar said on Wednesday that Ukrainian forces have recaptured positions in Bakhmut.
"We continue to advance in the Bakhmut sector in the suburbs," Maliar said on Telegram, reassuring that the units have captured "more than ten enemy positions in the north and south of the city outskirts.
"The situation ... is very tense. The enemy has gathered all its forces and is trying to advance, destroying everything in its path. Fierce fighting continues," the officer said in the message.
