Kiev to 'fight with shovels' if West doesn't send arms - Kuleba

Ukrainian foreign minister Dmitry Kuleba said on state TV on Sunday evening that if the West fails to send Kiev sufficient weapons supplies, Ukrainians will "fight with shovels" in continuing to oppose Russia.

"If we do not have weapons, okay, then we will fight with shovels, but we will defend ourselves, because this war is a war for our existence (...) Thus, the sooner we get weapons, the sooner they are sent, the more help will be for us," Kuleba noted.

He also highlighted the significant disproportion between Ukraine's and Russia's arms supplies: "We cannot win the war with such an imbalance."
