Kremlin blames Ukraine for talks stall

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Friday that Ukraine itself is to blame for the "freezing of peace negotiations."

"Ukraine's statements are contradictory, it is unclear what Ukraine wants," asserted the spokesperson adding that Kiev needs to realize "the real state of affairs" and show a "sober approach" to the negotiations.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stressed that he has tried to arrange direct talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin numerous times to no avail.
