Kremlin: Ukraine's attack shows need for special operation

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov argued on Tuesday that Ukraine's latest drone attack on Moscow proves the need for Russia's "special operation" in Ukraine. "This once again confirms the need to continue this special military operation and achieve the set goals," Peskov stressed.

Kremlin's remarks come after armed drones which supposedly came from Ukraine damaged several residential buildings in Russia's capital and injured two people. Kiev denied its troops were behind the attack.

Commenting on the events, Peskov said that Ukraine decided to conduct an aerial attack using UAVs after Russia's missile attacks on Sunday hit Ukraine's "decision-making centers."
