Kremlin: West's weapon supply to Kiev 'direct involvement'

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday that the West's supply of weapons to Ukraine demostrates its growing "direct" involvement in the conflict.

There has been no discussion of changing the status of the special military operation despite the United States and Germany's decisions to deliver tanks to Kiev, Peskov underlined the day after Washington and Berlin approved the deployment of combat vehicles to Ukraine.

"Zelensky did not solve the problem of Donbass. He did not fulfill the Minsk agreements. Moreover, he was not going to fulfill them, he was preparing for war. Therefore, he himself has long ceased to be a possible opponent for President Putin," the Kremlin spokesperson told the reporters.
