Kuleba: Germany remarks are 'disappointing'

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on Saturday that the latest statements of Germany regarding the Ukraine crisis are "disappointing" and go against their mutual support and effort.

"Recent statements by Germany about the impossibility of transferring defense weapons to Ukraine, in particular, due to granting permission to third parties, the futility of returning Crimea, hesitations to disconnect Russia from SWIFT - do not correspond to the level of our relations and the current security situation," wrote Kuleba on his Twitter account.

In his message, the minister added that the allies have to work together; therefore, Germany "must stop such words and actions," which undermines unity in front of the new aggressions. Earlier, German Defence Minister Christine Lambrecht told the Welt am Sonntag that Germany will not supply weapons to Ukraine for the moment.
