Labour's McDonnell: Trump lying about NHS

United Kingdom Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer John McDonnell suggested on Wednesday that United States President is lying about not wanting to include the British National Health Service (NHS) in trade talks with the UK.

Asked if Trump is lying about NHS not being on the table in the negotiations, McDonnell claimed the US president has "a passing relationship with reality and truth sometimes." and insisted that all evidence suggests he wants to include the NHS in the trade talks.

McDonnell's Labour has been accusing the government of Prime Minister Boris Johnson that they want to privatize health care in Britain. Earlier this year, Trump said that the NHS should be a part of talks which would mean that US firms could get into British healthcare. He later denied on multiple occasions that he wants to include the NHS in trade negotiations.
