Labour to hold confidence vote over Brexit - Corbyn

If Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit deal fails to pass for the third time, the Labour Party will hold a confidence vote in her government, party's leader Jeremy Corbyn said on Sunday, noting that such a move would be "appropriate."

Slamming May's decision to put her two-time failed Brexit divorce agreement up for a third vote, he said the Labour will not stand behind the "blindfold" deal, but noted that the Labour might support an amendment seeking a referendum on a Brexit deal. However, he declined to say which side he would take in a public vote.

"The government is apparently going to bring its proposals once again to parliament this week," Corbyn told Sky News. "I suspect they’ll be defeated again, the whole process they are doing is running down the clock," he underlined.
