Lavrov self-isolates after COVID-19 contact

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has self-isolated himself after being in contact with a person infected with COVID-19, his cabinet announced on Tuesday.

The ministry stated Lavrov was feeling well at the moment but that all of his meetings and visits had been postponed to avoid potential risks of spreading the virus.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, and Energy Minister Alexander Novak all tested positive for coronavirus earlier this year.
