London City Airport to resume flights after more than 2 months

London City Airport will open its runway for the first time since March 25 when it halted all commercial and private flights, the airport stated on Wednesday.

Domestic routes will be the first to return and should start by the end of June, while international flights are set to continue early July. The timing "may depend on the proposed quarantine of passengers arriving into the UK," the airport said.

It further stated that more information will be available soon, along with the measures proposed to reassure the passengers, and safeguard the public health.
