May: Divisions in Labour caused end of talks

United Kingdom Prime Minister Theresa May blamed the collapse of talks between the government and Labour on divisions in Opposition Leader Jeremy Corbyn's party. She made her remarks during a speech at a Conservative European elections campaign event in Bristol on Friday.

The prime minister said that talks were constructive and that certain progress was made. However, it is now up to the conservatives to deliver Brexit, she added.

Earlier, Corbyn announced that talks on Britain's departure from the European Union will be halted due to the "increasing weakness and instability" of May's cabinet.
