Meadows reportedly testified before grand jury
Former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows (pictured) testified before a federal grand jury as part of an investigation into former US President Donald Trump, CNN reported, citing a source familiar with the matter.
Meadows was compelled to testify as part of special counsel Jack Smith's probe after a judge rejected Trump's claims of executive privilege.
According to the report, it remains unclear whether Meadows testified specifically about Trump's handling of classified documents or his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
