Mishustin names digital economy as priority

Russian Prime Ministerial candidate Mikhail Mishustin (pictured) pointed out that the digital economy and national projects are priorities of his future work in the country's government. "A digital platform should be created for the people," he underlined on Thursday.

Speaking to various political parties of the State Duma, the lower house of the Russian parliament, he added that institutional and management reforms and eliminating "barriers to business" will also be some of the focal points. Inflation is not estimated to exceed 4%, Mishustin claimed.

Mishustin is also expected to suggest changes to the government's personnel. The State Duma is scheduled to consider his candidacy later today.
