Moldova temporarily closes airspace over alleged drone worries
Air Moldova announced on Tuesday on its Facebook page that the country's airspace will be temporarily closed until 4 pm local time and that some flights have been canceled.
"We are waiting for the resumption of flights. Today's schedule will undergo changes," the company wrote without giving further details regarding the matter.
Meanwhile, according to unconfirmed Moldovan media reports, the closure of the airspace allegedly took place due to security concerns as "a large number of drones" was reportedly noticed near Chisinau airport.
