More than 30 US states sue Google over antitrust issues

Google LLC has been sued by 36 states from the United States and Washington D.C. over alleged antitrust violations.

The lawsuit stipulates that Google's plan to force app developers that use its Play Store to pay a 30% commission on sales of digital goods and services, and the overall control of its Android app store, constitute a breach of antitrust laws.

Earlier in the day, the GOP members of the House of Representatives presented a plan to tackle tech companies and Former US President Donald Trump announced he was suing Google's CEO.
