Most CFOs expect no-deal Brexit - survey

Britain will most likely leave the European Union without a deal that regulates the process and the future relationship, believe 43.5% of chief financial officers surveyed by CNBC.

The poll results published on Friday showed an even higher percentage of 52.6% of respondents in Europe, the Middle East and Asia (EMEA) expecting this scenario, while 50% CFOs in the Asia-Pacific region see the United Kingdom crashing out of the EU. Meanwhile, most American CFOs see the withdrawal postponed and 30% expect a crash out.

Overall, 32.3% of respondents see Brexit getting delayed once again, which is what MPs have voted for last week. Only 3.2% see a second Brexit referendum happening.
