Mueller's House testimony postponed until July 24

Former United States Special Counsel Robert Mueller's (pictured) testimony before the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees has been postponed for July 24, Politico reported on Friday citing several lawmakers.

In June, Mueller, who was in charge of the investigation into Russia's alleged interference in the 2016 US presidential election, agreed to appear before the committees after their chairmen, Jerry Nadler and Adam Schiff, issued subpoenas for his testimony and promised to work on "preserving the integrity" of the prosecutor's work during the open session hearing.

The special counsel was originally scheduled to testify before the panels on July 17.
