Musk in favor of Twitter having payment option

Twitter Inc.'s new owner and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Elon Musk stated on Wednesday that he supports the idea of the platform having a payment option.

Responding to the questions he received on Twitter, Musk said that he believes that users should be able to pay for things on the platform "with one click." Speaking about the overall situation on Twitter, Musk noted that it is getting better while stressing that, "at the end of the day I am the chief twit here. The responsibility is mine. [...] If things go wrong, it's my fault."

Earlier in the day, it was reported that Twitter is considering adding a payment option and preparing the necessary paperwork to obtain the license for that.
