N. Korea: Military conflict would be horrible for US

North Korean army chief, Pak Jong-chon, said on Wednesday that using military actions against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea will be “horrible” for the United States. He added that the US is not the only country that is entitled to use the armed forces and that any military actions will be met with a response from North Korea. Pak reminded the US that they are still formally at war and that ”the state of truce can turn into an all-out armed conflict any moment even by any accidental case.”

Pak did, however, say he thinks that close relations between US President Donald Trump and North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un are the only guarantee for peace.

Earlier, while speaking at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit, Trump said that military actions may be used to resolve the problem with North Korea.
