N. Korea records zero COVID cases for 7 days straight

North Korean Central News Agency reported that there have been no additional COVID-19 positive cases for more than a week.

Six "fever cases" were reported in North Phyongan and South Hamgyong Province, however, the country's Ministry of Health stated that coronavirus tests were negative for the patients and that high fever was caused on by another infection.

In May, Pyongyang declared a coronavirus outbreak, and the daily tally of probable cases reached nearly 392,920 three days later. The nation was put under a rigorous lockdown after a significant number of COVID-19 positive cases were detected, which, in the words of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, led to "grave instability" in the state.
