New attacks on US facilities in Syria leave one wounded
Two new attacks targeted United States facilities in eastern Syria, ABC News reported. They followed airstrikes carried out by US forces on Friday, which were in turn a response to a previous attack that killed one US contractor and wounded six people.
An unnamed US official said both new attacks happened in the Deir ez-Zor Province. One involved drones and did not result in casualties, while the other was a rocket strike, which injured one US service member. There is no information on potential damage to the facilities.
