U.S. stocks boosted on Friday morning after the news that a Greek debt-deal could be reached, while Chinese stocks plummeted over 7%. The Shanghai composite closed at 4,391.91. The Dow Jones industrial average went up by 0.6% to 17,989. The Standard & Poor's 500 index edged up 0.1% to 2,104. The Nasdaq composite slid 0.1% to 5,107. Benchmark U.S. crude oil declined 73 cents to $58.95 a barrel, while Brent crude went down by 50 cents to 62.70.
