S&P 500 at all-time high

The S&P 500 index reached an all-time high on Monday, touching the 2,143.16 mark in the mid-morning trade on Wall Street, marked by high gains in a confident trade. This happened after the same index made another record, hitting the intraday all time high soon after opening, to pass the record of May 20, 2015. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite crossed the psychologically important 5,000 mark.

Here's the look at the boards at 7:30 p.m. CET.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.66% at 18,266 points. Gainers: Boeing, DuPont, Goldman Sachs. UnitedHealth was the sole decliner.

The S&P 500 rose 0.51% to 2,140 points. Top gainers: Wynn Resorts, Freeport-McMoRan, Alliance Data Systems. Losers: CH Robinson Worldwide, Transocean, Murphy Oil.

The Nasdaq 100 climbed up 0.77% to 4,563 points. Advancers: NetEase,, Tesla Motors, Baidu. On retreat: Viacom, BioMarin, Netflix.

The Nasdaq Composite rose 0.81% at 4,996 points. Rising: Superconductor Technologies, Coherus Communications, Emmis Communications. Plunging (over 10%): Orexigen Therapeutics, Euro Tech Holdings, Digital Ally, Cosi.

Oil: WTI down 1.02% to $44.95 a barrel, Brent down 0.88% to $46.35 a barrel at ICE Futures Europe at 7:20 p.m. CET.

Currencies: U.S. dollar was up 0.63% against the Canadian dollar, down 0.03% versus the euro at 7:30 p.m. CET. Gold fell 0.72% to $1,356.44 per fine ounce.
