Treasuries mostly higher ahead of Fed minutes

United States government bonds traded mostly in the green on Wednesday as investors focused on the upcoming release of minutes from the Federal Reserve's last monetary policy meeting due at 8 pm CET.

The yield on 10-year Treasuries fell 1.26 basis points to 2.3481% at 2:05 pm CET, while the yield on two-year bonds increased 0.02 basis points to 1.5125%. The yield on 30-year debt dropped 1.12 basis points to 2.884% at the same time.

In Europe, the yield on benchmark 10-year German Bunds rose 1.7 basis points to 0.459%, whereas the yield on British gilts with the same maturity grew 2.5 basis points to 1.388%. Bond yields move in the opposite direction relative to prices.
