Deutsche Telekom reports revenue of €19.2B in Q4

Deutsche Telekom AG earned €19.2 billion in revenue in the fourth quarter of 2017, marking a decline of 2% in comparison to the same period last year, the company reported on Thursday. Net profit surged to €1.3 billion, compared to a net loss of €2.1 billion in the last quarter of 2016, and adjusted profit amounted to €2.7 billion. EBITDA declined 3% to €4.7 billion, while adjusted EBITDA was 4.7% lower than in the same three-month period in 2016 amounting to €5 billion.

In the full-year 2017, the company achieved €74.9 billion in revenue, marking a 2.5% rise from the previous year. Net profit in the twelve-month period surged 29.4% to €3.5 billion and adjusted profit soared 46.8% to €6 billion. EBITDA for the whole 2017 grew by 6.3% to €24 billion and adjusted EBITDA increased 3.8% to €22.2 billion.
