Kudlow: Bilaterals are more efficient

The director of the White House National Economic Council asserted on Monday that a big victory for growth, prosperity, cooperation and free trade has been achieved with a deal between the United States and Mexico. The two sides will sign a document this week to kick off a three-month period until which the agreement needs to be voted on by lawmakers, Larry Kudlow said. "Bilaterals are more efficient" to adopt than multilateral deals, President Donald Trump's (right) top advisor stated and expressed belief that the new deal could be pushed to Congress "as it is."

Supply chain with the southern neighbor will be strengthened, he claimed. With Canada, issues are "much different," Kudlow added and stressed disputes in the area of milk and dairy products.
