Banco Santander Chile is officially included in the FTSE4Good Index Series, a series of benchmark and tradeable indices in the London Stock Exchange that include companies with best corporate practices. In effect, this tool seeks to measure the performance of companies that demonstrate strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) in accordance to global standards.

The FTSE4Good Index Series was launched in 2001, and is composed by the FTSE4 Good Global Index, the FTSE4Good Emerging Index, the FTSE4Good ASEAN 5 Index, and the FTSE4 Good Japan Index, among others. These indices - which are formed using an extensive market consultation process of public information - include more than 300 indicators under 14 different themes, which are further grouped under the three pillars of Environmental, Social and Governance.

 This index series enables investors to integrate the Environmental, Social and Governance criteria in their investment decisions.
