European stocks lower after Fed rate hike

European stocks traded lower on Friday following the Federal Reserve's interest rate increase on Wednesday. Investors are expecting GDP figures for the United States and the United Kingdom later in the day.

The DAX traded 0.52% lower at 9:15 am CET. The worst performer was Fresenius Medical Care AG, which saw its shares fall by 3.54%.

The FTSE 100 was 0.11% in the red at 9:26 am CET. Vodafone Group Plc's were 2.25% lower at 09:17 am CET after it announced that it is looking into ceasing its cooperation with PwC.

The Euro Stoxx 50 fell by 0.57% at 9:19 am CET.

The CAC 40 was down 0.37% at 9:03 am CET. Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield declined by 2.36% at 09:16 am CET.

The euro traded 0.08% higher against the greenback at 9:13 am CET at a rate of 1.14697. The pound increased by 0.16% to 1.2685 against the dollar at 9:14 am CET.
