Paris against 'state interference' in Air France-KLM

French Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire (pictured) said that there should be no "state interference" in Air France-KLM after the Netherlands announced it will double its stake in the airline.

Speaking to Les Echos newspaper, Le Maire stressed that the Dutch government did not inform Paris or the Air France-KLM board of directors about the stake building in advance.

Earlier, Dutch Finance Minister Wopke Hoekstra said the country will increase its stake in the airline from 5.9% to 12.68%. The French government owns 14.3% of of Air France-KLM.
