China grounds Boeing 737 Max fleet - report
China's Civil Aviation Administration told all domestic airlines to ground their Boeing 737 MAX planes temporarily, Beijing magazine Caijing reported. According to the article, some of the planes have already been replaced by Boeings 737-800.
The decision follows the crash of Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737-8 MAX headed to Nairobi, Kenya. All 157 passengers and crew members died in the crash whose cause is still unknown. The aircraft manufacturer stated it is "deeply saddened" by the news and said it will send a technical team to provide assistance at the site.
