Musk urges Tesla workers to help with car deliveries

Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk urged employees to consider their "primary priority to be helping with vehicle deliveries" in the last ten days of the quarter, according to an internal email published by Business Insider.

Musk argued that Europe and China, as well as North America, are simultaneously experiencing a "massive increase in delivery volume," which is made worse by "supplier shortages of EU spec components and a sticker printing error on our part in China that were only resolved in the past few weeks." The entrepreneur concludes stating that "this is the biggest wave in Tesla's history, but it is primarily a function of our first delivery of mass manufactured cars on two continents simultaneously, and will not be repeated in subsequent quarters."

In a previous email, Tesla asked its employees to volunteer in an effort to help the company deliver 30,000 more vehicles before the end of the first quarter of 2019.
