May says 'the choice is clear' on Brexit delay

British Prime Minister Theresa May stated that the Brexit delay decision by the European Council "clearly frames" the options presented to the United Kingdom's parliament. She restated that accepting her Brexit deal "means we can get legislation through, deliver on the referendum, and leave in an orderly manner." On the other hand, if the deal is rejected for the third time, she said the government will need to work with the House of Commons to decide how to proceed, and hold the European parliamentary elections, which she opposed.

The prime minister confirmed that there will be a third vote on her withdrawal agreement next week, in line with the European Council conclusions. May also restated that she does not believe the UK should revoke Article 50, as that would disregard the results of the 2016 Brexit referendum.
