Asian stocks mixed amid economic fears

Asian markets traded mixed on Tuesday amid concerns of the global economic slowdown. Chinese markets were down, while Japan shares partially recovered after a significant drop the previous day. South Korean stocks were also up despite Samsung Electronics warning its first-quarter earnings might be lower than expected.

China's Shanghai Composite was down 0.68% at 4:26 am CET while Shenzhen Composite traded 0.48% lower at the same time.

Japanese Nikkei 225 added 1.88% at 4:29 am CET. The dollar traded 0.03% higher against the yen, to go for 110.0130 at 4:31 am CET.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng traded 0.05% higher at 4:29 am CET. South Korean Kospi Composite was up 0.25% at 4:27 am CET.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 went up 0.14% at 4:30 am CET.
